Morphettville

About this project

This Morphettville project is a main bathroom built around a freestanding bath and a glazed blue feature wall. The handmade-look tiles are stacked vertically behind the bath and through the shower, with large-format stone-look tiles and a charcoal floor keeping the rest of the room calm so the blue does the talking.

Everything is finished in a warm gunmetal rather than a flat black, including a square rainhead with a handheld on the rail, a floor-mounted filler for the bath, a heated towel rail and matching screen hardware. The vanity is a timber-look floating unit, which keeps the floor clear underneath and makes the room much easier to clean. The backlit mirror has a demister and a magnifier built in, so it is still usable straight out of a hot shower.
